The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says with an increase in community transmission of COVID-19 cases in the City of Saskatoon all SHA facilities within the city will now require universal masking.
All patients, visitors, and health care providers are now be required to wear a mask at all times while within a SHA facility or home, even if they can maintain a two-meter physical distance, visiting outside on SHA property, or in non-clinical areas. The SHA says patients may be granted exemptions to this as directed by their healthcare provider, depending on their personal health situation. All other COVID-19 screening protocols remain in place.
Potential COVID-19 Exposure on Saskatoon Transit
Saskatchewan Health Authority is notifying the public of potential exposure to COVID-19 at the following locations where a person or persons attended while likely infectious:
- September 28-October 2 – Saskatoon Transit bus route #45 (Arbor Creek, near 1902 Kenderdine Road to 300 block of 5th Ave North), from 8-9 a.m.
- September 28-October 1 – Saskatoon Transit bus route #45 (300 block of 5th Ave North to Arbor Creek, near 1902 Kenderdine Road), from 4:30-5:15 p.m.
