This year’s fall sweep begins Tuesday. City crews will start in Holiday Park and Riversdale. Watch for yellow No Parking signs and remove your vehicle by 7 a.m. on the posted sweeping day to avoid a ticket and relocation to a nearby street. Last spring, vehicles were towed but not ticketed. Based on the number of tickets issued during the 2019 Fall Sweep, they expect to issue about 550 tickets this year. The Fall Sweep is not as extensive as the spring program. In the fall, the crews concentrate on areas where the risk of drainage concerns and spring flooding is higher. The Fall Sweep will run through October 23rd.
