On Saturday at about 8:15 pm, Indian Head RCMP were sent to a fatal vehicle accident on Highway 48 west of Vibank. Fire Department, EMS, and Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP Detachment members assisted.

The collision involved a passenger car and an all-terrain vehicle that were both traveling on the highway. The 24 year old male driver of the ATV, a resident of the rural area near Vibank, died at the scene. The female driver and child passenger of the car were assessed by EMS and released. The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
