A 25-year-old man is facing 17 firearm-related offences plus two more charges after being arrested in his vehicle early Saturday morning.
Saskatoon Police caught site of the vehicle of a wanted individual parked at a gas station in the 800 block of 22nd Street West at about 7 a.m. on October 10th. When the officers saw the man exit the store, he was arrested near his vehicle without incident. Upon observation inside the vehicle, the police saw, in plain-view, what they believed to be cocaine. A search of a duffel bag in the vehicle produced two firearms and various types of ammunition. Besides the 17 firearm-related offences, the man was charged with possession of cocaine and breach of release.
