Regina Police answered a call shortly before 2 Tuesday afternoon where the owner of the house in the 1900 block of Halifax Street reported there were people he didn’t know inside the house and the locks were changed.
When officers approached they counted six people inside and as officers searched the house they discovered, baggies containing what appeared to be drugs, bear spray, bolt cutters, a handgun eventually determined to be a BB gun, a sawed off .22 rifle, a loaded SKS rifle, machetes, knifes, shotgun shells, ammunition for a .22, other street drugs, a weighing scale, and a counterfeit $100 bill – as well as a man hiding under the sink.
Three women and two men from Regina were charged and made their first court appearances Wednesday morning in Regina.
