Saskatoon Police say that they got a call around 3 this morning after a taxi fare had allegedly pointed a gun at a cabbie, refusing to pay for the ride. This happened in the 100 block of 25th Street West and the driver took off on foot towards the Police Headquarters building. When officers got to the scene they didn’t find a suspect but did find a bag in the back seat which contained an imitation firearm. The female suspect is still at large. She is described as being petite, about 5’3″, slim build, shoulder-length dark hair with red streaks and was wearing blue jeans. The 25 year old taxi driver wasn’t hurt. Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
