The leader of the Saskatchewan Green Party points to their full slate of candidates for the upcoming provincial election and Naomi Hunter says it is undemocratic to lock the Saskatchewan Green Part out of Wednesday’s Leaders’ Debate.
Hunter also says the Saskatchewan Green Party is prepared to keep the time slot open should the media consortium or the other parties’ leaders invite her to participate.
She also says she’s a farmer, a single mom, a Saskatchewan resident and “you can’t stop me from taking the crop off!” So while she may not be at a podium next to the NDP and the Sask. Party, she guarantees Saskatchewan residents will hear from the Green Party.
The 2020 televised provincial election leaders’ debate is tonight in Saskatchewan.
The debate will be between Saskatchewan Party Leader Scott Moe and NDP Leader Ryan Meili. They will take questions from a panel of journalists and you can use #SKDebate to submit questions for the leaders.
The Saskatoon 2020 Mayoral Debate is this afternoon at TCU Place and is slated for 2 to 3:30 p.m. And the first of the Civic election forums will be this Saturday for Ward 10.
