The Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit North along with officers from the Ahtahkakoop RCMP detachment are investigating a sudden death in the RM of Shellbrook. Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area over the weekend.

While investigating the circumstances around the suspicious death, they are also working to identify those responsible. Anyone who has information concerning the investigation is asked to contact the Ahtahkakoop RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
