A 20 year old man, who was charged with Aggravated Assault in Regina in connection with the alleged physical abuse of a toddler, is now facing a charge of Manslaughter in connection with her death. On October 7th, Patrol officers were sent to hospital on a report that EMS was en route with a critically injured child. Investigation resulted in the original charge against Bailey Carter Lance Peepeetch. On October 9th, police were told that the little girl had died. On Monday, the accused was arrested again and charged with Manslaughter. The victim’s name has not been released. Peepeetch makes his first Provincial Court appearance on Tuesday.
