The latest poll from Insightrix Research shows the Sask. Party with a commanding lead in the upcoming provincial election. Among decided voters polled, 54 per cent plant to vote for that party’s candidate while 35 per cent plan to go NDP. Last week, an Angus Reid poll showed the Sask. Party with 60 per cent support compared to 33 per cent for the NDP. The Conservative Party of Saskatchewan is next at four per cent, the Green Party with three percent, two per cent for the Liberal, and three per cent for another party.
Insightrix says, both Regina and Saskatoon represent tighter races, with the NDP leading by three points in Regina, 46% to 43%, and the Sask. Party leading by four points in Saskatoon, 47% to 43%.

Voters report the single most important issue in the upcoming election is supporting the economy. The next most common issues are mentioned by half as many residents and relate to: COVID-19 response in general, healthcare and education.

A total of 801 randomly selected SaskWatch Research panel members participated in the online research study between October 6 and 8. Quotas were set by age, gender and region to match the general population of the province and as such the data did not need to be weighted.
Since the research is conducted online, it is considered to be a non-probability proportion sample; therefore, margins of error are not applicable. However, the margin of error can be estimated to be 3.5 percentage points, 19 times out of 20 for questions answered by all respondents.
