Saskatchewan Party leader Scott Moe took some heat from the public after a picture of him shopping for a coat in Regina captured him not wearing a mask. The image was shared on his social media yesterday (Tue), the same day Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab stated that “every little bit helps” when wearing a mask.
However Moe says he did have a mask on for part of his visit at the store and took it off when he had the opportunity to be physically distanced from others in the store. He also said he went grocery shopping last night and wore a mask the entire time.
The Sask. Party leader points out the masking policy in the province is very clear; when you are able to create the necessary physical distance a mask is not necessary. Ryan Meili has also appeared in campaign photos inside a business without a mask on his face.
