The man who died from a stab wound on Wednesday afternoon in Moose Jaw has been identified by the Moose Jaw Police Service.
Officers were called to an assault on Stadacona Street West and found 33 year old Shaun Holmes, who died at the scene.
The police investigation led to a home sevent blocks east of the crime scene where a 33 year old man had barricaded himself.
Around 3 in the morning the RCMP Emergency Response Team entered the home and arrested the suspect.
Vincent Picken appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court today (Thurs) and is charged with second degree murder and several breaches of court orders.
