Late Sunday morning, Moose Jaw Police received a report of a possible cougar sighting in the area of the green space east of Sunningdale School. Police were unable to find the big cat. They even brought in a drone to look around. While they suspended the search they were still advising residents to be cautious and not approach the area.

This is the second sighting in the community in recent weeks. In late September, a cougar was spotted in several areas of Moose Jaw and eventually had to be euthanized out of concern for the safety of residents.
