A 35 year-old Saskatoon man is in custody after an impaired driving incident on Friday.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., Saskatoon Police received a report of a white Pontiac, stopped in the southbound turning lane, westbound on Circle Drive at Avenue C. Witnesses reported that a man was unconscious in the driver’s seat. Upon arrival, Police confirmed this information and administered Narcan after which the man regained consciousness. He and his 35 year-old passenger were brought into custody. He was found to be in possession of Xanax and brass knuckles.

The 35 year-old man is now charged with Impaired Driving, Refusing a Breath Test, Driving While Prohibited and two weapons offenses. The 35 year old woman was arrested on unrelated warrants.
