TRANSIT AND ROADS
Transit service has resumed on High Frequency Corridors which includes 22nd, 8th, Idylwyld and Attridge Drive as well as route 64 & 14. Access Transit is providing essential trips only and is contacting affected customers. City crews have managed to move onto secondary streets, if not the entire bus route, and pushed snow to the side so buses can get through. Fixed route service will be expanded today as streets continue to be cleared. City officials recommend you check the real time app “transit” for service alerts.
The city says that snow clearing crews have been focusing on priority one roads like Circle Drive, 8th Street and 22nd, as well as bridges, overpasses, and ramps. All of those roads are passable, meaning there is at least one lane open. At last report on Monday, about 40 per cent of all priority two streets were also passable. They were hoping to have as many of the priority two roads open as possible before the end of the day. The city is still asking residents to avoid the roads if possible.

Queen Elizabeth School is temporarily closed after a COVID-19 case there and has moved to remote learning. In the Saskatoon Catholic school system St. Frances will shift to online learning through November 18.
