The provincial government has announced an increase in funding to the Veteran’s Service Club Support Program. It goes from $100 thousand to $1.5 million in the 2021-22 fiscal year. This was a promise made by Sask. Party leader Scott Moe during the provincial election. The program is there to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the clubs as well as support veterans, their families, and communities. The program was introduced two years ago to provide grants for repairs and upgrades for active veteran clubs in the province.
