The City has a schedule of residential snow clearing for all neighbourhoods, excluding industrial. Crews are focusing on the streets worst affected and clearing residential streets in all neighborhoods in a sequence where the streets carrying the most traffic, or are strategically located, are addressed first. At last report, 60% of Priority 2 and 40% of Priority 3 streets have been graded.
Overnight (thurs-fri), contractor and city graders were working on priority streets and numerous contractors will be working on residential streets in neighborhoods.
Stonebridge, Kensington and Brighton residential streets have been completed. 50% of Hampton Village, and 25% of Rosewood, Eastview and Evergreen have also been completed. Today [fri], crews are in Wildwood, Mayfair, Buena Vista, Lakeridge and Silverwood. Residents are not required to move their vehicle but, if able, crews will appreciate more space to complete the work.
There may be piles of snow left by the graders. Crews will come back afterwards to clear these out. Back lanes will also be prioritized along with the residential snow clearing. Snow has been cleared in front of the schools, though windrows remain in the parking lane. The removal of these windrows is underway.

Curbside Garbage and Recycling Collection
Monday, November 9 collections rescheduled to Saturday, November 14. Tuesday, November 10 collections rescheduled to Sunday, November 15.
Areas that did not receive scheduled garbage collection on Wednesday, November 11 or those that were inaccessible on Thursday, November 12, are to roll out carts on Monday, November 16 and leave them until they are collected.
Garbage and Recycling collection scheduled for Friday, November 13 will be attempted. In all collection attempts, accessibility will be a determining factor. Residents are reminded to ensure that they are placed in front of, or four feet to the side of all snowbanks and windrows, not on top of or behind. This is to ensure that collection truck arms can access carts for effective collection.
