Damage is pegged at $100 thousand after an apartment fire on the one thousand block of Matheson Drive. The Saskatoon Fire Department was called out around 12:40 Monday afternoon. They arrived to find heavy smoke coming from a ground floor window. While in the apartment, fire fighters found and rescued a cat that had suffered no ill effects from the fire. The cause of the blaze was incense left burning unattended.
