The Saskatchewan NDP Health Critic says the time for action to stop the rising numbers of COVID-19 is now.
Vicki Mowat believes the message from the government is inconsistent, with measure around masks in indoor public spaces first just applying to the centres over 5,000 and now it’s province-wide.
She adds that hundreds of physicians called for decisive action to protect patients and health care workers, but a slow down doesn’t go far enough.
The government says further measures will be reviewed, but the NDP considers the measures announced on Tuesday a ‘lack of action’.
