A Saskatoon man is facing a number of charges after refusing to stop for Police Tuesday night.
Shortly after nine o’clock, officers saw a suspicious, vehicle at 21st Street and Avenue S. The driver wouldn’t stop, and then he abandoned the car in the 300 block of Avenue U South and fled on foot.
A Canine track led officers to a backyard in the 300 block of Avenue V South where the suspect driver was taken into custody and allegedly found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.
A 46-year-old Saskatoon man is charged with Evade Police, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carry a Concealed Weapon, and Breach of Undertaking.
