Inland Steel Products has pleaded guilty in Saskatoon Provincial Court to one count under Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
The charge resulted from an incident that occurred on October 19, 2018, in the RM of Corman Park.
While machinery was being serviced, it came in contact with a power line, resulting in the death of a worker.
The company was subsequently ordered to pay a fine of $90,000 with a $36,000 surcharge, for a total of $126,000.
