PRESS RELEASE
Friday, November 20, 2020
Saskatoon Public Schools and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools have jointly made the decision to extend the pause on extracurricular athletics in schools. Continuing in-school learning is the priority of both school divisions, which is supported by this decision.
As a result, SSSAD will not be offering the following winter sports at this time: Basketball, Curling, Dance & Cheer, and Wrestling. SSSAD will continue to work with all involved and plan for a safe return to play in the future.
Thank you for your understanding. We will continue to monitor the evolving situation. We all look forward to the day when we can safely resume student athletics.
