You’ve got to wear a mask at any of the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s facilities. The SHA is reminding everyone that masking has been a requirement for a number of months, not just since the government announced mandatory masking in all public, indoor spaces. If you refuse to wear one or to wear it properly, you will be refused into the facility or will be asked to leave.
In a news release, the SHA reviews three simple rules:
-Bring a face mask or get one when you arrive.
-Be prepared to go through the COVID screening questions and answer them truthfully.
-Check to see if there are visitor restrictions, because there are many in place with the increase in COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan.
For instance, there are visitor restrictions on all long term care and home care facilities until December 17th, other than for compassionate reasons. Mid-December the restrictions will be reviewed.
