Saskatchewan’s NDP leader has written a letter to the Premier, advocating for a multi-sectoral task force to tackle the spread of COVID-19.
Ryan Meili says with cases rising, everyone is feeling the stress and strain and now is the time to pull together and fight against this common enemy: COVID-19.
He suggests a task force with municipal and Indigenous leaders, professionals from health care, education, business and labour, community-based organizations and the Official Opposition.
Meili believes that by working together, “we can successfully flatten the curve in Saskatchewan, save lives and create the conditions for a successful recovery.”
