The Emergency Food Hamper Program will be available to the public on Monday starting at 10 a.m.
The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre remains closed today. There were three positive cases of COVID-19 identified on Monday among staff at the Food Bank. Executive Director Laurie O’Connor says they have now had all staff tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results. But she says they will definitely be open next week so folks can pick up hampers or drop off donations be it food, money or a cheque.
O’Connor says they don’t want to put anyone in a situation where they feel jeopardized so you can also donate via their online portal or if you are out shopping for yourself, you can donate actual food at grocery stores.
