The province has awarded Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools with the Premier’s Board of Education Award for Innovation and Excellence in Education.

The Division, along with partners such as the Central Urban Metis Federation, collaborated on programming for the St Michael Metis School of Excellence. Board Chair Diane Boyko says the school has become a hub of activity for things like learning Michif, fiddling, and jigging as well as a place for a variety of cultural and community activities.
