The fall sitting of the Legislature begins Monday with the election of the Speaker in the morning and the Throne Speech delivered by the Lieutenant Governor in the afternoon.
Premier Scott Moe expects it will be a two week session, allowing for debate and passage of the Throne Speech and introducing several pieces of legislation, including bills required to fulfill the government’s campaign commitments.
The Assembly has been reconfigured to add more physical distancing, and plexiglass shields have been installed on the desks.
