Statistics Canada says the unemployment rate fell 0.4 percent to 8.5 per cent in November. It was a continuation of the steady fall from the record high of 13.7 per cent in May. The number of people with a job or business held steady in Saskatchewan. The provincial unemployment rate rose 0.5 per cent to 6.9 per cent. In Saskatoon, the unemployment rate dropped from 15.6 per cent to 14.9. In Regina, it fell to 5.4 from 6.1 per cent.
