A teen from Grandmother’s Bay charged with second-degree murder in the death of 32 year old Norris Kevin Charles has been sentenced to three years intensive rehabilitative custody and supervision with one year probation to follow.
The teen, who was 16 at the time of the incident last February also has to submit a DNA sample and has a firearms prohibition order.
La Ronge RCMP were called to a home in Grandmother’s Bay are 1:30 in the morning on February 29th.
Officers found Charles dead at the scene.
Police say the initial investigation led to the arrest of a 16 year old boy, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
