The New Year will bring expanded hours for Saskatchewan residents to access drive-thru COVID-19 testing in Saskatoon and Regina.
The Saskatoon drive-thru facility at 3630 Thtacher Avenue, between SaskTel Centre and Costco, will be open Monday through Friday from Noon to 7 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends…beginning January 4t. Until then, the current drive-thru availability is Tuesday through Thursday from Noon until 7:15 p.m. and weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regina’s new hours at the International Trade Centre at Evraz Place begin January 2…11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. Right now, the Regina drive-thru location is open seven days a week from 1 to 7 p.m.
Referrals are not required for drive-thru testing with tests done on a first-come, first-served basis with waits to be expected. You need a valid Health card or driver’s license or passport, you must wear a mask and anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Vehicles should only have members of the same, immediate household for testing.
