Warman Fire and Rescue says they were able to raise just under $5,000 in an hour, for the Warman Food Bank Friday during the “Parade of Lights”.
The city of Warman says hundreds of cars turned up and drove through the parade set up, that allowed residents to drive through the Warman fire hall. Fire, police and city equipment were lit up in a festive way and even Santa Claus made an appearance during the night.
While a donation wasn’t required many chose to make one, while they were enjoying a holiday family outing.
