Around 4:30 Sunday afternoon, RCMP advised that they were on scene at a rural residence on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation, about 29 kilometers North West of Prince Albert. The area surrounding the perimeter of the property was being secured by police.
Local residents and drivers were being advised that they would notice an increased police presence in the area for an undetermined time as police conduct an investigation. Nothing else has been released about the incident.
Last week, RCMP were looking for three different suspects wanted for two separate incidents but not necessarily connected to the most recent police presence.
Prince Albert RCMP are looking for public help in tracking down 21 year old Ethan James Felix-Beatty from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation. Ethan is wanted by police in connection to several charges laid for a series of break and enters, armed robberies, possession of prohibited and dangerous weapons dating back to October and most recently on December 3rd and 5th. The alleged offences occurred throughout Saskatchewan on the Muskoday First Nation, Weldon, Sturgeon Lake First Nation, Hafford and Little River First Nation.
Prince Albert R-C-M-P are also searching for a woman and a man in connection with a stabbing and a vehicle theft on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation last Wednesday afternoon. Thirty-one-year-old Ashley Badger and 39-year-old Welsey Naytowhow are facing multiple charges following an initial investigation.
Anyone with information about the three suspects are asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
