A 54 year old woman is in custody after an incident just before 11 o’clock Sunday night that resulted in Police deploying a Conducted Energy Weapon. Officers were sent to a home in the 2300 block of 20th Street West where a woman was said to be threatening self-harm with a knife. Officers tried to have her drop the knife but say she refused. Police say that when she started moving the knife toward herself, one of the officers deployed the Conducted Energy Weapon. The woman was taken into custody and then to hospital for medical treatment.
