Defensive back Nelson Lokombo of the Saskatchewan Huskies, and reigning U Sports Defensive Player of the year, has been named to the roster for the 2021 East-West Shrine Bowl.
It’s America’s oldest college football all-star game. This year’s edition is cancelled because of the pandemic, but game organizers have been announcing all-star selections throughout the month to recognize outstanding senior seasons.
Lokombo becomes the seventh Huskie to be named to a Shrine Bowl roster since Canadian players began receiving invitations in 1985.
Kudos For Saskatchewan Huskie, Nelson Lokombo
