Not many Canadians have been given a distinction that Weyburn’s Tenille Arts has been given.
Country music programmers in the United States have made the 26-year-old one of their fresh faces of 2021 which for country music artists is a big deal. Arts says this distinction is definitely a highlight for 2020 along with the success of her single which hit the top 20. She hopes it will be a springboard for what 2021 could bring.
Arts and four others selected will perform to end a four-day virtual conference in Nashville in February. Some others in the past to have received the honour include Maren Morris, Lindsay Ell and Thomas Rhett.
