Alberta’s Premier has accepted the resignation of Tracy Allard as Municipal Affairs Minister and his Chief of Staff, Jamie Huckabay.
He has also demoted five other MLAs for vacationing outside the country over the holidays.
Jason Kenney says in a Facebook post that Albertans have every right to expect that people in positions of public trust should be held to a higher standard of conduct during the pandemic.
He considers the decision to travel abroad over the holidays extremely poor judgement.
