Correctional Services Canada says an inmate has tested positive for COVID-19 at the Willow Cree Healing Lodge as well as two people who work there. The institutions’ routine has been modified as a result and contact tracing is underway. The resident has been isolated and the employees are self-isolating at home. Close-contacts have been tested and they too are self-isolating. As a result, visitations are not allowed for now at the healing lodge. All employees and inmates have medical masks and face shields. Cleaning and disinfecting have been increased. There are 41 inmates at the facility.
