A 35-year-old Saskatoon man faces five charges following completion of an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit.

Between January, 2016 and December 6, 2020, the 35-year-old man was reported to have sexually assaulted a 15-year-old female as well as physically and sexually assaulting a 37-year-old woman. The suspect and the victims are known to each other. The male suspect was arrested on December 8 and made his first court appearance on December 23. He is being charged with sexual assault, assault, obtaining sexual services from a minor, sexual assault with a weapon and sexual interference. He is in custody until his next court appearance on January 13.
