Joe Biden was confirmed as President Wedensday despite a pro-Trump mob storming the Capital building. The National Guard was called in, four civilians died, and Washington’s Mayor instituted a curfew. Politicians and members of the media sheltered in place but the Electoral College Count continued later in the evening leading to the declaration of Biden as President of the United States. Donald Trump’s Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts, the use of which some say incited the rioters, were temporarily suspended.
