If you have a wooden overhead door on your garage, keep an eye out.

Saskatoon Police say there have been more than 40 occurrences reported since October where thieves got into a garage with wooden overhead doors by removing one of the panels. Sometimes nothing was taken but other times big ticket items like a snowmobile and snowblower were taken.

Police are asking home owners to report any activity of this sort, even if nothing is taken. And keep an eye peeled in your neighbourhood for suspicious activity or vehicles in alleyways or driveways that have garages with wooden overhead doors. They also suggest you consider motion lights and recorded video cameras.
