Three men have been arrested and face numerous charges after the Saskatoon Police Service’s Drug Unit completed an investigation of a cocaine dial-a-dope operation.
The Drug Unit’s investigation saw numerous instances of drug trafficking which led to arrests from two seperate traffic stops on January 9th. With the help of the Tactical Support Unit, a 22-year-old man was taken into custody at the first traffic stop while a 20-year-old and a 34-year-old man were arrested in the second stop. That led to search warrants on two vehicles and three residences, netting seizure of 422.3 grams of cocaine, 55-hundred-and-85 dollars in cash and five cell phones. The 34-year-old man is charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine while the two younger men face charges of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purposes of trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime over five-thousand dollars.
