Prince Albert RCMP now have both suspects in custody in connection with a stabbing incident at a residence on the Sturgeon Lake First Nation on December 16th. Police say a man and a woman drove to the residence and, while the woman waited in the car, the man entered the residence, assaulted a 37 year old man inside, and then drove off in the victim’s car. The female suspect also drove away. The victim was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to hospital in Saskatoon with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening. He has since been released.
39 year old Wesley Naytowhow was identified as the male suspect and was arrested on December 20th. He is facing several charges including Aggravated Assault and Uttering Death Threats.
31 year old Ashley Badger was identified as the female suspect and was arrested Thursday afternoon. She is facing several charges including Robbery, and Commit an Indictable Offense. She is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
