Human remains were found at an abandoned home in the RM of North Battleford Tuesday night after emergency crews responded to a fire.
RCMP say once the fire was suppressed and the scene was examined, the remains were found inside the home.

The death is being investigated as a homicide and the identity of the person is not yet known. The abandoned home is about 30 kilometres northeast of the City of North Battleford at the junction of Highway 687 and 378.

Police are looking for the public’s help in this investigation. If anyone noticed any suspicious activity between 6 and 10:30 in the evening on the 19th, they are urged to contact the RCMP of Saskatchewan Crimestoppers.
