The City of Saskatoon says tree trimming will take place in parts of City Park starting Thursday. Closures will begin daily at 7:30 a.m. The project is expected to take four days to complete, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Access to sidewalks around work zones will be restricted while this work is underway. Detours will be in place guiding motorists around the work zones where needed.

Road closures include:
Thursday, January 21 – 7th Avenue will be closed between King and Princess streets
Friday, January 22 – 7th Avenue will be closed between Queen and King streets
Saturday, January 23 – Queen Street will be closed between 7th Avenue and Spadina Crescent
Sunday, January 24 – Spadina Crescent will be closed between 24th and Queen streets
