The City of Saskatoon says city crews are clearing snow at locations where it has drifted on the roadway, monitoring high traffic roads, and applying de-icing material where it’s needed.
High winds are causing drifting snow resulting in snow accumulations; icy roads, intersections and sidewalks; and reducing visibility.
Access to the off-leash recreation area north of Hampton Village is restricted due to reoccurring drifting snow closing Junor Avenue and Whelan Road. Stay at least two to three vehicle lengths behind snow equipment.
