Regina Police have laid a charge in connection with the 2nd homicide in 2021 in Regina. A 39 year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 30 year-old Jeffrey Gerald LEHTO of Regina.

The investigation began as an assault case Tuesday evening, when police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Quebec Street for a report of an injured male. They found a man with serious injuries. EMS took him to hospital, where he passed away on Wednesday. Police say continued investigation led to the arrest of their suspect.

Thirty-nine year-old Adam R. HOOK, of Regina, is charged with Second-Degree Murder. He will make his first appearance in Provincial Court today.
