The centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs in Canada is outraged that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency is glorifying Dalal Mughrabi in learning materials produced and distributed to Palestinian school children. The centre says she and and what is described as, her gang of terrorists, is responsible for detonating a bomb on a bus in 1978 that killed everyone on board. The centre says the murder claimed the lives of 38 Israelis including 13 children. The centre alleges that she is a child murderer and the support for her is wrong.

The centre is calling on the federal government to demand an independent investigation of what is going on at the UN agency and stop all contributions until it can be certain that Canadian taxpayer dollars are not being used to subsidize hatred and celebrate the murder of children.
