Five people are facing charges and 487 grams of meth has been seized along with just over $6300 in cash, and small amounts of cocaine and fentanyl.
That’s according to the Saskatoon Police Service after a week-long meth trafficking investigation by the Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team.
On Thursday, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of 15th Street and Weldon Avenue in the King George neighbourhood.
Police say a man and two women were found with meth and cash consistent with trafficking.
Later that night a traffic stop was conducted around 33rd Street and Warman Road and two more people were arrested.
It’s alleged meth, cash, a stun gun, knives, scales and other items related to drug trafficking were seized.
Then, a search warrant was executed at a home in the 700 block of Lenore Drive was executed and police report more evidence of drug trafficking was found.
Two men, and three women are facing drug and weapons related charges.
