Saskatoon Police say the responded to two armed robberies Monday morning with the first call coming in at 10:30 a.m. from the 1200 block of Idylwyld drive where two men entered the store armed with a firearm. They were unsuccessful in getting into a safe and police, at this time, believe they fled in a vehicle.
Then at 11:15 a.m. another pharmacy in the 200 block of Acadia Drive reported two men entered the store and tried to get access to a safe. A gun went off in the process but no one was hurt. The two suspects again are believed to have taken off in a vehicle.
One suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie, black fitted sweat pants, black toque and gloves. The second suspect was wearing a burgundy coloured hoodie and pants, white running shoes, a dark coloured toque, carrying a black bag. Both were wearing blue medical masks.
