Saskatoon Police say they have arrested four men and laid more than 40 charges in connection to a kidnapping and assault investigation from the weekend.
At 11:15 p.m. Sunday night Saskatoon Police were called to the 200 block of Lenore Drive where a 43 year old man told officers three men had entered the home, threatened the man and a 42 year old woman also there at the time, with guns, beat the man up and then forced the woman to leave with them.
A few minutes later Saskatoon Police pulled over a suspect vehicle at Taylor Street East and Acadia Drive where two men were arrested and the woman who’d been taken from the Lenore Drive home was located. A third suspect has not yet been located but a fourth was tracked down through further investigation and the 49 year old man was arrested at a home in the 3500 block of conspire to commit kidnapping.
Charges against those arrested, and the individual still wanted, vary, but include assault, robbery, kidnapping and conspire to commit kidnapping.
